Affiliate interview of the month - World Logistics

This month, we interviewed Rosario Iorio, Owner and Operations Manager of World Logistics.

Tell us about yourselves! What is the story behind your company, and what is your role within it?

World Logistics is a family, in the best sense of the word. Our company was founded in 2010 by three partners, three brothers-in-law, who decided to turn a family relationship into a shared business venture.

What started as a small local business has grown thanks to three values we have always believed in: reliability, punctuality, and a strong human relationship with our customers.

Today, we are a trusted point of reference throughout the Campania region for companies and professionals who need a fast and dependable service.

I am Rosario Iorio, and my role within the company is operational at every level. In addition to coordinating local distribution, I personally manage linehaul operations and warehouse activities, from sorting incoming goods to organizing loads for overnight routes, overseeing the entire process to ensure efficiency, safety, and, above all, compliance with the service standards and deadlines required by the CDS Network.

How long have you been part of the CDS Group, and what motivated you to join the network?

We have been part of the CDS Group since 2021. Joining the network was a natural choice: we were looking for a solid, well-structured partner with a nationwide vision that could help us take a significant step forward, particularly in the management of out-of-gauge freight.

With CDS, we found not only an efficient network but also a true team that provides constant support and enables us to offer our customers comprehensive coverage throughout Italy.

What makes your service unique in the areas and provinces you serve for the Group? Which customers or sectors are your greatest strengths?

We mainly serve the Naples and Caserta areas with a fleet of 25 trucks and 15 vans, all company-owned. We know these territories street by street, and that is our greatest strength: an in-depth knowledge of the local area combined with the flexibility to guarantee fast deliveries, even in the most challenging locations.

Our key sectors include:

• Automotive and spare parts
• Industrial
• Fashion retail
• Food
• Large-scale retail distribution (GDO)

Whether it is a pallet, a parcel, or an envelope, every shipment is equally important to us.

What does being part of CDS mean to you? How has the affiliation influenced your daily operations and growth opportunities?

Being part of CDS means feeling part of something bigger while still remaining true to who we are. It has transformed our daily work by providing us with tools, processes, and a nationwide network of colleagues we can rely on.
